  1. UV ink and vehicle wraps

Sadly the UV inks will destroy the performance of any vinyl. We tried to use it for mildly textured walls and it failed miserably.
  2. What material is this?

Faux gold leaf pattern fill printed on probably reflective. There's no depth variation between the gold and drop and you can see where the tile repeat lines are. I really don't understand the laminate bleed or why a bleed wasn't added to the black. I can only guess that it's for edge sealing.
  3. repeating an object in different sizes and spacing in a 180 degree circle

Yeah this looks like a trace of a scan of a screen cap of a Canva file...0.o
  4. repeating an object in different sizes and spacing in a 180 degree circle

Draw a circle that matches the path of your objects. Draw and place your big and little boxes. Select both boxes, then use the blend tool. Select apply to new path icon then select your circle. You can then adjust your steps to match the existing.
  5. What lamination to use on printed reflective?

The hardest part about making street or DOT specific signs is that the spec'd materials are typically not available through traditional sign vendors. They fall under Traffic and Safety. I'd be curious if they require DoT stamps.
  6. Issues with Illustrator PDF Scale Exports

With the dimensions you're spec'ing I'm guessing you are already working with large canvas. I often do our exhibit murals at full size without issue. I created a "save as PDF" preference. SC's of each of those settings below.
  7. Issues with Illustrator PDF Scale Exports

Large Canvas won't necessarily solve the issue whereas setting the Compatibility to Acrobat 7 will stop AI from auto reducing to 10%
  8. Issues with Illustrator PDF Scale Exports

You can use large canvas to get up to approximately 2200" x 2200"
  9. Issues with Illustrator PDF Scale Exports

The default setting on Compatibility is Acrobat 5 (1.4). Change it to Acrobat 7 (PDF 1.6).
  10. How do you get Adobe Filters to work in Flexi?

You can either point it to the Adobe folder or install Eye Candy (I love that set) and point it to the Flexi plugins folder.
  11. Possible to skip Laminate when printing with overcoat?

Laminate for the most part is for UV & Environmental protection. Without a UV blocker your prints will fade pretty fast.
  12. Cutter vs CNC... Colex vs Laguna Smartshop vs AXYZ trident vs???

OP, for what you're describing you want a flatbed cutter with a minimum of 4hp spindle. I started at the pure routing end of the spectrum (channel letter backs & faces, routed push thru cabinets..you know sigh stuff) but in the last 7-8 years have gotten more into print/cut aspect of exhibits...

  14. Circles on a CNC Whats the accepted tolerance ? Are my circles good enough?

In your programming you can use lead in and lead out cuts to perfect edge quality on cut outs as well as help prevents little tabs when a cut is completing. If you notice the dodgy corners is where your initial plunge takes place and then proceeds to make your pocket fill. See if your tool...
  15. Circles on a CNC Whats the accepted tolerance ? Are my circles good enough?

Your dodgy square looks to be the result of a lead in cut.
  16. Question clear coroplast?

Laird Plastics has them in various thicknesses. We used to use them for large zip track numbers in price pod's before everything went digital.
  17. Sfumatura Corel

You pretty much nailed it :) The perspective tool just elevated it. It was fun to play around with the different line settings (scale with object and what not) vs converting outline to shapes.
  18. Sfumatura Corel

You could take that file and use the perspective tool on it. That would give you some cool effect.
  19. Alternative to 3m VHB for mounting 1/4" PVC interior wall lettering?

Yeah it can be but try to only have the newbies do it in non ventilated areas...kind of a right of passage if you will.. o.O On the serious side, you want to do this in a well ventilated area or a properly fit respirator/filter combo. I've gone so far as to do this in a paint booth. Same with...
