1304 nozzle test issue - ideas?

New Member
5 year old 1304 with very few hours (all life meters still read Full). No heads strikes. Cleaned weekly.

Greeted today with this on the black. Anyone see this before?

Does it look like a classic blocked nozzle? I dunno.

First time I've ever gotten anything but a perfect test pattern.

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
It's a partially clogged nozzle. Nothing too big to worry about and it may recover on it's own. I wouldn't go trying to flush the head or anything as this should not affect your print enough to take the risk. Make sure your wiper is nice and clean and check the bottom of the head for any ink build up and/or dust and fuzz collecting ink. If you haven't replaced dampers and/or the cap top in over a year I would think about changing those out as a preventive maintenance measure.
