Was wondering if anyone knows what would have been a common font for window lettering in 1881. I am doing some work in museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin where they claim the first ice cream sundae was invented in 1881, and would like to use an authentic-looking letter style. The woodwork is very ornate so I am looking for something to match. Thanks for your help!
