You are officially invited to the Jersey Shore Signs in the Sand 2010 Nor'Easter meet! Check it out-there’s a lot here! I will update this post as info comes in.

This we are teaming up with a regional event that creates marketing materials for charities in need of image enhancement to further their causes. We will be making banners, signs, and wrapping a vehicle. Bring business cards for networking with the charities, agencies and designers involved!

Capping this at 125 people like last year so please signup now.

Event cost will be $50 like last year ($25/day if you only come one day). If you don’t eat 3 meals a day and have all the drinks and snacks you need I assure you you will still get plenty of value out of the cost.

Kids: I welcome you to bring your kids and spouses along. The kids can’t be in the immediate shop area, but they are welcome on the grounds (sponsor area, social tent, food, etc). Plus, this area is a family mecca-beach, lighthouse, swimming, etc. so plan to come enjoy it there will be plenty to do.

Dates: Friday September 17-Sunday September 19.

Food and drink: We’ll have 3 full daily meals, snacks, and all the cold drinks you can handle Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Adult beverages at your discretion-we have a bevy of liquor stores in town.
Saturday night dinner and local seafood feast! Don’t worry if you don’t do seafood we’ll have you covered too. Local crabs, clams, mussels, scallops, and whatever local fish is fresh!

Friday - Late Morning/afternoon fishing trip destination and target by interest and conditions.
Meet and greet beginning at 5:30 pm let’s put names to faces, enjoy some food and drink and get the bitchin’and moanin’ and hootin’ goin’.
Fugliest Sign/design contest kicks off-show us the worst you have ever done yourself (fess up people we all have). Admitting your weakness challenges our limits and allows one to grow! Super special prize for the winner chosen by peers! Bring letter size prints of the masterpieces!

Saturday: Business management, marketing, production tips and tricks. Flatbed printer fun, router and 3-d signmaking, Hands-on wrapping instruction and wrapping a vehicle for a local charity. Carving and gold leaf demo and tips/tricks for better production and profits. Sign panels and banners for local charities. Paint, brushes, and loaded computers for old school and new school fun!Bring anything under 2” thick and let’s print it and or carve it! Additional materials on hand TBD by sponsors.
Saturday spouse and family beach day on Ship Bottom Beach-Lifegurads present. For the non-sign folks.
Saturday evening dinner, seafood feast, and social.

Sunday- Wrap up, more shop fun on the big machines, completion of the charity vehicle wrap and signs.
