I'm doing some cut decals for ABS side-panels on a customer's street bike (80's CB650 if anyone's interested in the details).
He wants them in 3M cast metallic vinyl, and I was thinking of overlaminating with 7mil pro-shield for a little extra durability (since his legs will be rubbing against them.
Has anyone ever used this combination of materials?
I was also planning of offsetting the overlam 3/16" past the metallic itself to make sure all of the sharp corners are rounded out.
Opinions would be greatly appreciated.
