3m Edge Sealer 3950 Poblems On Paint

I've only used seal-it pens and I bought a bottle of 3m 3950 in hopes that it is a little faster to apply then using the seal-it pen... 3m warns of possible problems on painted surface. Anyone ever have issues on painted surfaces and sealing with the 3950?

I use the edge sealer quite a bit and have never ran into a problem on painted surfaces. If you are worried always spot test.
