3M Envision SV480Cv3 vinyl print problem

Just started using 3M's SV480Cv3 with my Roland Vsi540. I'm using the correct 3M profile. I'm seeing vertical lines, all about 1/2" thick and can't figure out what it is! It's not banding, it's oriented in the vertical, not horizontal. It seems to be a "texture" in the vinyl itself.

has anyone else seen this or know what's causing it?

we had problems with 2 rolls of the 3m ij180 cv310. With line issues in the vinyl. Not sure if it is the same thing.
