3M VCAT-2 Roller - Looking for a less expensive alternative

We use the VCAT-2 for working vinyl into crevices or curves on vehicles and some other applications.

However, these cost $200 for what is essential a handle and a foam roller, which seems exorbitant.

Can anybody recommend a similar tool that is less expensive?

You can try the Roller S or L but they don't work in as many different situations. You also have the TSA-2 which is even cheaper than the VCAT but it tends to impress the roller texture into the vinyl. https://www.lowencertified.com/assets/pages/catalog.aspx

In truth, the VCAT works the best and saves you time so bite the bullet.
