3M Visual Attention Service or other similar software

Has anyone used 3m's VAS software? It is very expensive, but I think the idea is great for showing customers how the mojority of people view there signage, wraps, flyers, etc. I think it could also help in getting new customers, by showing how there current designs currently do not highlight the important areas. Just a thought here on how this technology could be implmented. Does anyone know of a similar software that is lower in price or if I'm really lucky....FREE?

I was thinking more not for us to use for our designs, but more for customers to show them how there design will be viewed, or when your trying to get a new customer who has real busy designs. Could offer as a service, then follow up with a we can redesign and make it more appealing. All just a thought
