4 Mil calendered vinyl ??

Can someone recommend a good 4 mil calendered vinyl.

I have to mount some decals on a brushed metal surface and a thicker vinyl will hide some of the brushed metal, too thin of vinyle shows all the brush marks on the metal.
Any suggestions would be great. thanks

What I did for a similar job was mount a regular vinyl on a 10mil plastic film then add a good double side adhesive to the back of the film. Not cheap but does a great job on rought materials or walls.
