I know what MDO stands for, was just curious if Gino got that or just good two sided plywood like they sell at Home Depot Which is not MDO.

MDO is what they call it today. Years ago we all called it duraply. But that's what I got...... MDO. 3/4 has practically no voids in it or footballs telegraphing through. The cheaper stuff was $ 67 a sheet, but they were outta stock, so I got the more expensive stuff. One is signal and the other is guardian. There's another type, but I don't remember that name. But I'm not making 3 months signs. These will be up for quite a long time. I'll fill the edges with putty, sand them and make sure the plies have no place for water to seep in. I will give them 3 coats front and two on the back and the edges get a coating everytime. That will give the edges 5 coats. They should last at least 20 years. I'll be using an oil-based paint for all the coats. Oh, and I'm putting edge capping on all 4 sides.

RTG is pure sh!t. It will start rotting away in a coupla years. The edges only get one coat and they are not sealed. Just waiting for moisture and bugs to get in.

That's why I'd rather do 6mm ACM. All that time and effort in prepping people don't want tonpay for

Gino, ten years? Your like an old can of unopened One Shot paint, it just needs to be stirred up, or the old dried up crust needs to be removed.

If you remove the old crust on Gino, there won't be anything left of him :)

Careful with your comments.

You're the one who started this stupid mess and can't figure out how to get outta another simplistic situation. Odd, how you don't chime in about all the helpful posts, but you have time to poke fun at someone who has tried on numerous occasions to help you. What's wrong with the people of today, anyway ?? They'd rather make fun of someone who is helping, rather than try to help themselves to all the free and helpful knowledge at hand. :banghead:

I always appreciate your help Gino, don't get me wrong, but then you go and add the comment that everyone should know what Royal Blue is... No not everyone. I originally figured it would be close to a saphire blue but just wanted the forum input as I checked online and started seeing huge variations of what royal blue could be. I even checked to see if it was a one shot colour. I can't use vinyl colour charts because none of mine actually have anything called royal blue.
Johhny had it correct and I used that colour.
As to chiming in for all the helpful posts, I am not sure what you mean but I more than appreciate all the help that is offered and add where I can on the site.
