48" Valuejet stops printing mid job

I have 64" and 48" Valuejets, recently the 48" has started quiting printing mid job, the red light remains on as does the word printing on the display but the job does not finish. Internal color test print is fine but when outputting to the devise it stops printing every time.

Any suggestions?

Go to EDIT , PPREFERENCES, TOOLS, RIP AND PRINT

uncheck the box that says connect to local production manager using tcp/ip

check circle thats says always use production manager settings. Then OK.

Turn off screen savers

If it's only one printer doing it. Check your usb cord too.

+1 for checking cable.. Seems like maybe it stops receiving data

It is still quitting during print, changed setting as suggested and replaced Cat5 cable, any other ideas

Check to see if the OS is letting the HD and/or NIC power down after X amount of minutes... Screensavers can sometimes do this as well... A loss of communication is what is happening, most always the computer and not the printer...
