If it's new I assume you are talking SP? I have a VP540 (the 'i' was a software upgrade) and it is a wonderful machine. I had a SP300 which was a workhorse too but
has 2 heads- VP is 4 heads and much faster. Gene

VP540i owner here. Very pleased with it but can't compare as it is the first large format for us.
