We are running econoview 70/30 Perf (vision print) on our HP Latex R-1000. For the life of me i can not get the vinyl to stop curling up BAD on the edges as it comes out. Bad enough that when i stop and it returns the vinyl back to the starting spot it is curled up enough to trip the head crash sensor.
I have tried a variety of settings. turning down the heat, turning down the air flow. Clearly what's going on is the vinyl is contracting and the paper backing is not and causing it to curl up but i have yet to find a good setting for it.
Almost wondering if the reverse would work and heat the vinyl more so that it is very playable as its curing and relax/let it stretch a bit?
