80'x10' Banner

Customer wants an 80'x10' banner to install on the side of a 100'x18' building wall which faces a freeway. It's an advertisement for a new industrial park and they will install the banner themselves, the wall is corrugated steel siding. They want a banner and not aluminum panels because they are still doing construction on the building, and plan on moving the banner to a different location once construction is finished.

With a banner this size is securing with screws and fender washers around the perimeter be ok? Or will it need to be fastened throughout the middle as well? I would imagine it would need some across the middle as well.

Who would be a good vendor to source the banner out to?

We can print either 10' mesh or 10' 13oz banner, seamless, and finish it to your specs. Either way you decide to go, we'll be happy to make this for you. Give Bryan a call @ 801-305-1655 or send an email to sales@abacatalog.com.

Thanks for looking.

Also contacted Merritt Graphics.

What do you all think a reasonable markup % for a banner like this? Perhaps I should ask in the premium section?

At the very least 100%. More if the traffic will bear it.

Make sure you warn them up front that the banner will stretch and contract with temp changes so they know they are going to end up with waves in it. They won't be a problem and won't hurt visibility but people love to complain.
