Need Help 82 vw lettering?

Ok so I've been asked to do some lettering on the back of a 82 vw pickup

All I'm doing is recolouring the existing stamped lettering....

I have an existing vehicle template subscription but the lettering on it and what's on the truck don't look exactly the same.....

Can anyone point me in the direction of a template file for this?..... other options?

I think you are going to run into a dead end getting a template that will match exactly to those stamped letters.
Might be time to break out the premask & pencil rub the outlines - cut it by hand or scan in the rubbings and redraw so you can plot them. Once you cut or plot - float them in one by one to get the best alignment.
I've done it for older Jeeps and Toyota 's but they were just a few letters with repeats - not 10 with no letters twice.
