90 Seconds or less?

I am sitting waiting right now. It has been about 3 min. I tried to call earlier and got fed up after 5 min of waiting. :frustrated:

The key to that, is shop there as little as possible. Always had the more regional suppliers do more for us then Fellers ever has.

Oh, and two months ago our sales rep from Fellers called and said she was coming by. I've seen a rep from ever other supplier at least once since then, she has never shown.

I use the Fellers catalog to see what new tools have come out, Then I go find other vendors selling the same stuff and buy it from them.

I don't know what the #$!$@# is going on over there, but they are really starting to @$#^ up...

90 seconds isn't really that bad of a deal, but I called at 8 am on Wednesday, and ordered a couple of rolls of vinyl, and they said that they were coming from Philly...a one day ship from me...

I callled back on Friday afternoon to find out where they were, and they told me that they were shipping had shipped that day... and they didn't show up until today. I looked at the shipping receipt, and it said that the order wasn't put in until Thursday!!! I'm still waiting on a call from my sales rep on that one...

Anyone have any luck with their sales reps? Mine has yet to walk into my shop.

I've started to call their prices into question... I looked at the cost of some VinylEFX film, and they are over $20 higher on cost than Harbor...

I can't wait til they leave. I don't need to see the latest wood grain dibond

Yea, actually, they are my only rep that DOES stop by. I'd rather they didn't unless I had issues and needed to talk to them, but whatever. I guess I don't mind waiting on hold to order, that's pretty much standard anywhere, but they used to always take the 90 second approach.

It'd be nice to get it setup online easily. I love ordering from Advantage online.

I suppose next time my rep comes in I'll bring it up. It seems to be at least 5 minutes every time lately and it's a bit low on standards compared to what it was a year or two ago.

I simply never have these problems. I think Charlotte must be a good market for them. Our rep is responsive, always helpful and always gives me pricing. In fact, when I call Fellers most of the products I order are already adjusted in their system for good.

Not to mention when I can't handle sewing my banners for time, our warehouse handles all the finishing options for us. Really works for us. Oh well.

No issues with Feller's. Closest suppliers are at least 2 hours away. Feller's has free shipping and better prices than any of them.
Although I started dealing with US Cutter for ink. Saved a ton on EcoSol Max. Plus their shipping is a flat 10 bucks no matter what. I get product in 2 days which is okay. I just have to watch inventory a little closer.

My Fellers Rep stops by around once a month or 6 weeks which is cool. He usually brings samples of stuff he thinks I might like and asks questions about ways they may need to meet my needs. Grimco Reps have only been by twice, but they call EVERY FRIDAY after they send out the email blast of their Friday Specials. I've had a very positive experience with Fellers ever since I started using them. Very rarely have they messed up on anything and they are always willing to price match stuff. I'm sure they are like many other companies, they get really busy in the morning and you may have to wait a bit. You can always order on their answering machine or have them call you back if you don't want to sit there on hold. Some area reps may suck...just complain about them, and you'll probably get a new rep.
