Address exception error E016 cpu Err (05) message has appeared on my RJ6100 does anybody know what this is or how to fix it?

Errors requiring restart that involve the CPU system.

Address exception error
E016 CPU Err [05]
An address exception error has occurred in the CPU.

Note :
In each case, switch OFF, wait 10 seconds and switch ON.

With any CPU errors - you may need to cycle the printer on/off quite a few times (10-20 times). If that doesn't get you through, then it may be time for a replacement main board.
