Pixels Are Bad Mmmkay?

I designed the logo for this customer last year. We printed his t-shirts and yesterday I put graphics on his truck and new trailer. Figured I'd start posting some more of my work, not just designs.
He wanted the Serpentine font so I modified it more to my liking and he approved. The bike graphic I wasn't really happy about at first, but I think trapping it in a circle and adding the giant wings creates a more memorable and readable icon that doesn't rely too heavy on the bike graphic but doesn't really take away from it either. The bike graphic was traced from a photo of him in his racing days so it was important to him to be part of the logo.
He wanted the second version of the logo done without wings to use as an alternate logo. I didn't argue, I just did it. He purchased the rights to the artwork, but we still print his apparel and do his graphics and he's talking about a post and panel sign now.
