Gorilla Glue is a joke. It's messy, it foams out and there are better products out there. It's the equivalent of middle class duct tape.

If you have really dissimilar surfaces and don't have a clue how to get something to bond, even below the waterline use Mr.Sticky's --> http://mrstickys.com/
If you want to get really fancy Lord Adhesive 202 --> http://www.lord.com/products-and-solutions/adhesives/product.xml/2
(you can glue your Cessna or Lotus Elise together with this stuff... which is what they use instead of welding aluminum)
