Adhesive for Brick

Hi,

I had some lightweight ACM signs (about 2' x 30") and tried using loctite as an adhesive and it didn't work at all. There was no tackiness in the adhesive which I found very odd. Not sure because it was hot out making it more difficult. Before I screw into the brick, is there another adhesive brand/type that I should use on brick that can handle a few pounds?

Use a polyurethane construction adhesive, but you will need to use something to hold it in place for 24 hours while it dries, VHB tape works well

Thanks. I saw this construction adhesive next to the masonry section at home depot and gave it a shot. Worked great and wished I had found this earlier.
