I have decided to quit participating in this forum. Since I became disabled a few years ago I have no participation anymore in any sign endeavors. I'd like to thank the people who PM'd me their support and defense of my most recent thread concerning my daughter that was derailed by an opinionated blowhard.
I highly value the friendships I've gained here over the years. I will forever cherish the memories of the weekend the late Dave Drane and his wife Liddy spent at my home during one of their trips to the U.S. from Australia. I'll be forever grateful for the generous outpouring of financial support I received here following my six month hospitalization. I have genuinely enjoyed the years of camaraderie I found at this site and still consider this to be one of the finest forums on the internet.
Possibly in my interminable boredom I have become slightly irascible as I seem to have ruffled some feathers here lately. It wasn't my intention to do so. I lost the friendship of a lady on this site I truly enjoyed visiting with and can get no response to my inquiries as to what I did/said to offend her. The fact is something here isn't working for me anymore. I have a few new interests I've found great forums for and will be spending my time pursuing participation there. No need to respond to this, as Fred will be able to verify, when I click out of the forum after sending this I won't be back to see replies anyway. Adios... it's been a great ride!
