Discussion Adobe and the use of Artificial Intelligence

Not sure yet if anyone has used Adobe Photoshop with the new update and the use if the new AI (artificial intelligence) to select objects but it's pretty interesting. While it's not perfect and does require some touch up I found that most of the time it's pretty accurate.

Still doesn't beat the pen tool. Good for a starting place. What I think is more impressive is the new upsampling algorithm in the image size.
"preserve details 2.0" It came out in the October release.

If you start with a "good" image you can go up like ten times in one step.

I took a raw file from my Nikon (.NEF) and was amazed at how Photoshop took it from 4000 pixels to 40,000 pixels.
We print ten feet wide, so resolution issues come up frequently.
