I wonder how long before your customers will be coming in with their artwork as a "vector" using this app

I tried shape out the other day hoping it would work better than it does. It's pretty ****ty.

There's only so much any auto-tracing application can do. Shape CC has an interesting twist on it. But essentially it has to take an arguably low resolution image from a consumer grade smart phone/tablet camera and try to do something useful with it. Most of the auto-tracing filters I've used over the years have been fed much higher resolution images from a flatbed scanner. Shape CC is definitely a "low-fi" approach.

If I ever take the plunge and get an iPad maybe I'll get the Adobe Pen gadget and use some of the drafting apps geared for it.
