Advanced Plumbing Logo

Would like to receive professional critique on my initial layout for a logo design. Obviously, the icon is a stock photo, which I intend to modify.

Appreciate any advise and or concerns on this initial draft.

it is nice and retro looking but the image reminds me of the old propaganda posters from Russia. maybe an image where he isn't looking so grim

I also like the concept.
I agree about the icon, he needs to be friendlier.
I'm not liking the bottom line of text, neither the font or "importance".
I always think that what they do is as important as who they are, especially
for a small company.

ive done a few plumber trucks and logos......
and need to be more lighthearted with guy.........who is the logo. could have john deaton do you a one off...........personalized cartoon kinda guy.
