Hi guys,
So recently I got hold of a Mimaki CJV 300-160 from a print shop my dad works at for cheap as one of the heads was not working fully and we did a few prints using just the one head basically. After the printer sat there a while without use during some health issues where we were unable to maintain and work on it, we've come back to it and have new issues as you would expect. After turning it on I get the error code: System Halt (1) 1b0
CB COMIO-F2. After looking in the maintenance guide and testing all the fuses on the board with a multi-meter I found the F2 fuse is blown on the COMIO board, after speaking to a local supplier/servicer of Mimaki equipment here in NZ they told me it would be like $2600 just for the board, that most likely the board was damaged because of the heads not working which would be like $5500 a piece so looking at like $13k just on parts which I can't afford so I'm looking for any advice, wondering how likely it is to have any chance of at least getting the printer running as a plotter if I can manage to just replace the blown fuse? - then potentially try restoring or replacing the heads later on...
Anyone had similar issues or any words of advice how to approach this challenge?
