I do a lot of short term (aka indoors anywhere from 1 day to a few months tops) mounted signage.
Currently Im using HP Everyday Adhesive Matte Polypro because its affordable ($0.44 ft2), works on my aqueous and latex printers, and is a lot cheaper than pvc-free vinyl.
The issue is that the aqueous coating makes the printed graphic super prone to scratching or scuffing, and the adhesive is pretty aggressive with our paper based substrates.
Are there any cheaper alternatives that are still somewhat eco-friendly? My shop is big on being environmentally responsible so if it all possible I stick to pvc-free if not recyclable or biodegradable.
