Aged Vinyl Removal

I have a van with a 10+ year old wrap on it. What is the best product/method for removal of a laminated, cracked, and dried vinyl wrap. I am especially concerned with the roof.

Thanks in advance. :thankyou:

There's a hundred threads about vinyl removal in the archives. Sounds like you have a pretty large project ahead , and if you have to ask for tips, you've probably never tackled one like this before.
What kind of shape is the vehicle paint in? Have a straight up conversation with your client about damage that may result from this removal, and let him know what might happen.
You'll find several techniques work well, some low, some on the roof. You'll find out what works best as you go.

Welcome from OK

Look into getting a Vinyl Zapper Eraser. Heat will leave a lot of gum behind and be pretty messy to get rid of.

Get a wall paper steamer.

If it peels paint send to the auto body, ya can not expect much after that long, lets be real
