Alps deal gone bad

I have a Alps 2300. ( I think ) It has been boxed forever. Just printed a full color shirt transfer with all kinds of colors. Looked perfect, washed it once and it still looks perfect. This was on 100 % cotton pressing with a house iron. Only problem is when stretching the cotton shirt white gaps appear between each thread of the shirt. Looks bad. Never tried it on 100 % polyester. One draw back is Alps carts would be an expensive way to print shirts. Even a Epson C88 is cheaper per print.

Just my opinion.

Anyone else printed on shirts with a Alps and OEM carts I would like to know how it turned out.

Thanks,
