Hi, ive got a full roll of Arlon dpf6000x cast, i want to gloss overlaminate, I have 3m - 180c and a roll of Oracal cast in stock
does anyone think this brand mixing would be OK or should i just buy a roll of Arlon 3220 to be safe, thanks
Manufacturers always recommend matching up media and laminate.....although we all know that's not always ideal.
I don't personally work with Arlon but I've mixed Avery/3M/Oracal/Mactac/Drytac/Ritrama/General Formulations/GBC in a number of different combinations and have never had an issue.
As long as you're matching cast with cast, and calendered with calendered....I think you'll be fine. (But don't fly to Canada and yell at me if anything goes wrong....this is just my opinion lol)
thank -you, I quite often mix poly with poly and cast with cast, its just that I have never had the Arlon base stock before, we usually have 3M or Orical,
