Alternatives to Anchor 156 Mask?

Wondering if anyone knows a good alternative (aka cheaper) to Anchor 156 mask.

We sandblast signage etc on stone and it is the only rubber mask we have found that has enough tack and flexibility to get the job done. wondering if anyone knows of other options? I know we've tried 3M's products.

I am sure there is something made overseas that is just as good but what...and where?

Disclaimer: I am more the customer relations side of the business so forgive me if my technical terms are wrong.

I have been using UBlast masking. Someone mentioned it on here in the past and I gave it a try. They also sent me a sample rolls for free. Pretty good price point as well.

We do natural stone and monuments and have tried everything else mentioned above when Anchor was closed down a couple of years ago due to flooding.

I will never use anything else as long as Anchor is still in business.

Yes, it's higher cost than the others, but the way it performs I would gladly pay double if I had to. There are about a dozen factors that drive that decision...and some of them have been expensive lessons reaching that conclusion.

Take a closer look at your operation and determine what "cost vs value" means. You may very well agree.

I never found any "cheap" rubber that worked good.I did learn that cheap cost more.If a blast job goes south because of a cheap mask it is very costly and not worth the risk of a few pennies.
Hope this helps
