Android Estimating App

Hello all,
I made myself a rudimentary app for quick, on-the-fly estimates when out and about without my laptop with me a couple years ago.
I am now planning on taking that and polishing it up into a nice presentable Android app, and was wondering if there are others out there that would be interested in it?
My current app does Digital Printing, Banners and Cut Vinyl...

Let me know if this is something you would be interested...

I would be interested. I have done something similar for my own personal use. Using the signcraft pricing guide. I would always like another tool that I can use.

Make sure it will work on 4.03 ICS tablet versions and we are all set.

Tablets are a fad, just like the internet and .... pockets!

I'll take one when you have it ready too. 4.03 works for me. Scott

I wouldn't mind beta testing for you, I have Android 2.3.4 running on an HTC Wildfire S (rooted, of course).

Also looking to get into Android development myself, so if you'd like a hand with it let me know. Was actually thinking of making something like that for my first project so maybe we can put our heads together.

Sounds like maybe I better slide this one up the priority list. I will make sure it works on Android 2.2 to 4.1. I have a 2.3.4 phone, a Kindle Fire, and a 10" 4.0.3 tablet to play with it on.
It will be able to store and modify different materials and prices.
Thinking about incorporating some way to keep non industry people from getting it, or at least not have access to the materials costs and such.

Not sure about iOS, Apple makes it so much harder to develop than Android. (Like not being able to develop unless you have a Mac.) If things go well with Android, Then I can think about making the step over.

Actually the rudimentary app I did make started out as a web app on my first gen iPhone back before they even had apps!

i'll try it on my 2.1 android, Sony Ericsson. no problem.
Rooted of course.
Anyone got the .apk, on Mediafire or something to give it a try and give suggestions.

Not to discourage anyone from making an app, but there are loads of database programs available on all platforms that would make quick work out of this and you would build it as you go, making it fit your business really well.

I think TapForms used to be one that was awesome.
