Those are the calls I pass on to my least favorite person.
I've gotten a couple of those. one was a flaming softball on a woman's foot! Could've used a pedicure! The one I liked the most was an emailed photo of a tattoo on an arm. That was the supplied artwork. It was fun to work on though.
Hey ... I love it when customers give me artwork like that! That means an extra 125.00$ for vector conversion (what i would charge for that ummm logo). If they want the file after ... add 75.00$
And of course i would redo their layout for free.
I had a designer send me a file and he couldn't understand why I wanted the font converted to outlines. "After all Helvetica is only one of the most common fonts in the world"...yea but there are also about 10,000 versions of it and I don't have them all. The guy was really a horse's butt, so I look at his website, he used to be a big mucky muck on Madison Ave till the economy went south and now he's a one man show out of his aparatment....guess it sucks having to actually work and not just be the "idea man".I get that from "designers" and I do us that term lightly as anyone with a 'puter and a program can sell themselves as a designer
If you can actually get paid by those kinds of people, you sir, are a god among men.
