Another dumb PhotoShop question.

When you're using the polygon lasso selection tool under zoom, how can you slow down the "scroll" (or whatever you'd call it).

I mean like if you happen to bump the perimeters of the image you've zoomed in on, it swings wildly to one side or another. Then you can't get back to where you were working because it's too fast. You have to zoom out and then zoom back in.

Is there an adjustment for this?

I'm not sure if I'm explaining this very well.

you can mess with your mouse speed in windows or approach the sides slower. i just cheat and move the view around with the hand tool shortcut (press spacebar)

that is what i do also when i zoom in and using pen tool i will use the hand tool to move around
