Another pricing Q

As I already asked about this project (How to install) let me check my pricing.

This would be my first, lets say bigger install. I need to do 10 truck trailers with Oracal 751. (53 footers)

Each trailer will have 2 4'x2' logos cut and installed (One on each side, I have just enough room between rivets to install them and not worry about rivets), also I need to do 2'x1' logo on the back and 3 sets of numbers (5 digit numbers 5" tall, one on the back and 2 on the front vertically)

I'm hoping to do this in 8-10 hours in his shop (Install time).

Thanks in advance

:thankyou:

Single color vinyl. Just black on white trailer.

I did 5 trailers already, I was looking to charge him around $250/trailer. There are 3 more sets of 5-digit numbers involved per trailer.

I do not know if I'm leaving some money on the table. I took me 4.5 hours for 5 trailer, so that would be around 1-10 hours for all 10.

Not everything is about sq foot. At $250 there is definitely money on the table. That is a lot of identity. It's onsite, it's off the ground, prep/installation...

$250 per truck seems fair, 1 color small logos, it is a pretty straight forward and simple install. You could add a charge for installing on site, which would be considered reasonable to most. However, that should be a flat fee for each day you are out there, not for each truck you do. Just my opinion.

I'd be about $300 a truck myself.

I say at $250 your still making great money. Can't take but a hour per trailer which seems that is the case.

Say $233 for the vinyl then $75 for install (1 hour), I say $300 is fair even. Heck meet in the middle at $275.

I agree. I would be at around $265.00 for one truck plus about $37.50 for install or $302.50 total.

If I were doing 10 I would be at $240.00 plus $37.50 for install or $277.50.

After that, I would also figure in travel expense.

I would be at $350 per trailer, but since you are doing 10 of them i would give them 10% discount which equals to $315 per trailer.
