Do I charge my customer if I do not have the font he is looking for? I need to purchase a font for his logo...........do I pass that cost to him?

Yes you do of course. Now you can give them the option as well. Most clients will opt out from having to pay for a matching font. They will tell you to just use the closets thing possible. The choice is yours. I try to use the exact font and include it with the bid. However if the bid was given before hand then choose option two which is allow them the option to opt out or not.
