You will find that 'font' in the head of the person who painted them.

That looks hand painted...notice the slight variation i8n the 3 Rs.

Yep, it was probably not a font but a bloke's "style"

That sounds more like it. Strokes don't look consistent.

so maybe a standard font on all other letters and a "customized" R letter.

could i just take a close "r" and vectorized and change the shape to match?

This looks similar to font that was up for ID a few weeks ago.
Don't think it was ever ID-ed...similar to A&S EDORAS.
