Been toying with the idea of changing my FC7000-75 to load the media from the front.
It'd be easier for changing rolls and for spooling out the vinyl by hand, which I sometimes do instead of pre-feeding a certain length.
I just tried cutting from a sheet using the "ROLL 1 FRONT SET" command instead of the usual REAR SET and noticed the origin point changes to the left rear.
The cutter compensates for the new origin and orientation by setting the cutter head to the left and inverting the objects.
So this all seems pretty easy - no need to alter the origin point in the software or the file - the cutter does it automatically.
Anyone do this? Any pro's and cons?
