Any quick fixes for cutting strips?

Hey guys, I damaged my cutting strip pretty bad because i forgot to change the blade depth from going from calendared on some yard signs to cast on a vehicle.

I can't turn the one i have over because it has nothing but adhesive on it.

Anyone have a quick fix until i can get one in from my vendor?

Have any 1mil smooth pvc or styrene?
Cut to size and hold in place with banner hem tape.
Should hold you over for a while.
Even a thin strip of .030 magnetic material will work in a bind.

You just have to get the adhesive off the back first is all. Then restick it with banner tape.

Never tried it, but have heard sandblast mask will work in a pinch.

I've been using sandblast mask on my Ioline for years. I get about 2-3 years per strip.

Thanks guys, Trying to magnetic fix as i have a ton of extra pieces from a job.

we laid down 3-4 layers of vinyl once and it worked for until the replacement arrived.
