Just wondering if any of you guys use any finishing on edges of dibond signs? I did use rubber u-channel before but would like something better? Any ideas?
depending on how it is going to be mounted. if its a framed we use the frame as much as possible to improve the edge appeal.
99% of the time we always wrap the edges with the extra printed vinyl regardless of the color as it gives a much clean look hiding the core and the cut alum edge of the ACP
granted this rarely works with plotter vinyl

I used to wrap about an extra 1.5" around the edges to the back, and heat the back with a torch . This was using 180C print vinyl with laminate. I do so many that aren't laminated anymore that I just trim the edges.
we do it with both materials. Like eahicks said make sure to heat the back to ensure proper adhesion activation.
Knock on wood all of them are still holding strong and we constantly get comments how the edges look so much better now
