Any Tips For Installing Vinyl On Pontoon Boats?

I do quite a few pontoon boats and wondering if there is a better way to apply cut vinyl instead of using a standard squeegee? Most areas are very flat and usually about 24: tall.I use the hinge method after laying everything out.
I was thinking about a 8" roller like this maybe? Anyone use anything like this?
