do you HAVE to use a FA head
can I fit a 10 channel tfp head from a 4900/7900/11880

are the voltages set in the head for solvent rather than wate???

I have already fitted a 4900 head into a s30600 - -got head error, BUT still don't know if it was something else

Gonna need the service program to flush/refill the lines.
The non-solvent heads diaphragms/internals aren't up to snuff for solvent flowing through them IIRC.
That's all I can help ya with, I'd just call in the pros for a head replacement. Just did it last week actually.
Remember, the head test prints are backwards from actual head placement in the carriage left-right.
