Suggestions Anyone else having issues with defects in Oracal 3651RA?

I've been having problems all summer getting a good calendared vinyl for my everyday indoor signs. I've used HP Optimal Gloss Air GRP, then we started getting bad rolls with lines and pock marks in the face stock. I then switched to Briteline 3203x and it had the same defects. So, I switched to Oracal 3651RA and the first couple rolls were good and now I've received 6 bad rolls from 2 different suppliers. (these all have garbage in the adhesive causing a rash in the face stock) I need a good calendared vinyl I can trust. I don't care for IJ35 too much but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for your help.

In 30 years we have had so many problems with ora-thing that simply we dont buy that brand anymore. I agree with vondergroot... 4500 are really great. If u want cheaper, 828P from mactac (monomeric) works really good for the price.

I woudl HIGHLY recommend giving Substance Media a try!!
we went from 3165RA to 3755 a few years ago for general use. Not 1 issue (except FedEx damage) and their customer service is great. Also switched from 3551 to IJ40 when Oracal prices went crazy then kept getting blotchy prints on 3M and switched that to Substance 275 with 8518 laminate. It works good too, similar to IJ40 or SLX+ in terms of initial tack and ease of install on flat applications

I've got a great intermediate grade vinyl coated for my by Drytac. It is the same spec as the Oracal product other than being slightly thicker. Air-egress, gray adhesive.

54'x150' rolls are $279.59 so that should also put a few bucks in your pocket. I'm temporarily out of stock of matte finish, but have a ton of gloss on the shelf.
