Been messing with the stuff in one form or another for years now. Used to be used for pattern making, or machining prototype parts. Now mostly used for sign making, but I still machine it when making custom post tops and things of that nature.
Still as big of a mess as always. I thin I need to build some type of exhaust on the wall behind my lathe/mill. Kind of like a vertical sanding (vacuum) table. The dust is insane. Even wearing my respirator and goggles it still manages to settle in your ears etc...
Does anyone else used HDU for thing other than the normal sign face applications? Sculpting decorative pieces, custom post or caps?
