Anyone have experience with the Mimaki JFX200? Reviews?

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
We are looking to see if anyone has purchased or run a Mimaki JFX200 flatbed. Not many have been sold in the US but we hear they have been at least somewhat popular elsewhere. We would like to know your experience with this machine and weather you would recommend it to prospective buyers. Any information is much appreciated. Thanks!

JFX200 is fantastic, the quality it prints on is great. We were the fist ppl to have it in Canada and the first ppl to have it with white ink in North America.
it's the perfect solution for a flatbed UV Printer. Prints on any material, with great quality and for the price I don't think you can beat it.

What ink configuration did you get, trying to get one unit and haven't decided what ink configuration should I take.

Thanks for replying to the question. We are placing the order this week. : ) We should be getting it in about 2 weeks. The hard part is our new location is going to start construction this week and will take 5 weeks to do! : / We will have that baby sitting around for about 3 weeks and will not be able to play with it! : ( lol

Another question is, do you have have a CNC Router? IF so, what brand? We are getting one to go with the MIMAKI and I've narrowed it down, its either the AXYZ or the VISION. Thanks!

Hi, were are also looking into getting a flatbed. We were looking at Oce460 or CET Q5, leaning towards Oce. Then got thrown a curveball on the Mimaki JFX200. How do you like it? Would love to get some feedback.

Would love to get some feedback. We want quality over speed. We dont do mass production. More artistic graphics in the themed entertainment, i.e amusement parks, casinos, repo-graphics, want to print on faux finished-texture materials like fake wood grain, rustic looking metals. acrylic/alum panels with Matthew's paint base coat mostly. Also tiny copy is important, things we could not plot with vinyl and farmed out for silkscreen. Any feed back would be great!

I love the jfx200, having a little trouble with static but I’m putting that down to its environment at the moment, the colours I get out of are beautiful, love the white and clear inks, I did have a trade customer say to me “you should be able to get that printing quicker than that” but I have been told it’s the entry level machine and I am only running single cmyk never the less have only had little issues my biggest gripe is with the inks not pigment or longevity but the rediculous packaging

All in all my second Mimaki and stoked with the choice
