Anyone have troubles with cutting master 2?

We are using it with illustrator cs4 to do our contour cutting...

When I go to use it to either cut or put reg marks on something it either does nothing or spouts some gibberish error message...

What I have to do is restart illy which is a major hassle and try it again when it reloads...then it works..sometimes...


We use flexistarter on the production computer for simple vinyl cutting...there may be a conflict but who knows...

anyone else experience this time consuming annoyance?...Yes I update CM2 every chance I get.

When you use CuttingMaster, you have to change the language on the cutter to GP-GL. Otherwise you'll just get jibberish.

The language is definitely important, but I think you should still be able to apply marks. Can you post a screenshot of the error?

Its not the language...been through that problem before..

The plugin just doesn't work sometimes...like you click reg marks and it does nothing...usually for everything I reg mark and cut I have to save and restart illy...who knows probably a software thing

just seeing if anyone else ran into this problem

Does it still give the error if you draw and convert a rectangle to make the marks versus having the plug in do it?
