Anyone here wrapped helmets with this process before?

I saw this on YouTube a long time ago, and just had a friend drop me off a plastic barrel so I can try this. All I have are full face and open face ATV helmets, but I'm going to see how it goes on those and see if it will work.

Just wondered if anyone else had had any luck with it. I can see how it'd be real simple to do on helmets like the one used in the example.

No luck with 6000XRP. Tried several times on a small bicycle helmet. It was one of those skid lid half helmets.
Color would "blush" from the stretching. Haven't tried any other materials.

I did a half helmet using IJ180 and it came out grate, but the design didn't matter as it was alomost like camo. I just can't see doing a full helmet that though.

Yea, I'm not expecting incredible results...but I figure it's worth a shot. All I have are full helmets, so we'll see how terribly this goes.

I tried it with 380 & the special lam (the number escapes me) I had no problem getting the vinyl to wrap on the helmet and stick. But I did have a major problem with the print stretching so much on the sides of the helmet that there was no colour left! I tried 4 times and couldn't get it to look like theirs. I was just using a simple black and grey pattern.

Don't forget 380 is only good for %50 stretch. I've seen Brandon do this before on a 1/2 helmet. He says he uses the same technique on full helmets. I know he does goalie masks and Indy car drivers helmets.
