It's handdrawn. Heck, you can probably just draw the silly thing or scan. If you need a different digit, open a font such as Century 725 Black and go from there. (check the 55 on the door panel)

not sure what font - i've got one that looks pretty close from back in the days when i used to do the old racing cars - pm if you me to send it over (pic below - i've got an .eps)
