Hi
I am looking for a good dubbel sided tape to add to acrylic letters. We have a 54 inch roll from General formulations but it's so bad. Any suggestions?

We take VHB and cut chunks or small pieces to fit and that usually is more than sufficient for small letters. If larger than 3-4" tall and with a medium or bolder font weight, we'll use a combination of VHB and LEXEL high strength adhesive.

How small? If it's small thin letters at eye level, we use "Transfer tape".

It's paper thin so if its going on a wall at eye level.. itll look a lot nicer than vhb tape. It's pretty expensive though... $350ish CAD for a 12" roll. We buy it by 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", and 12" for all our small acyrlic letters.

We use VHB/foam tape if it's a wall that will flex, otherwise the letters will pop off.

Do you mean banner tape? That is what we used when the letters fell off.

We have 3M in the lab at school. It's red, fairly thick and supposedly used in the aircraft industry. You get one chance to get stuff straight.

VHB 4950. For a cheaper option I also use the VHB RP45. Both have been extremely consistent for the past decade. I also agree with Toad, Lexel is necessary for larger surface applications
