Anyone wholesale big cut vinyl?

I had a customer come in and need just one giant white cut decal for the side of a trailer that a bodyshop is repainting. I don't have to install it, and I really don't want them tying up my shop too bad since they'll take up so much room. I need (4) that are 5.5' circles basically that need to be weeded and covered in transfer tape. I know everyone prints, but looking for a cutter. Would just need to be in white cast vinyl like 751 or higher.

Anyone point me to someone that can do that for me?

Try Chris (cDeisel is his name here on s101) at AZPRO signs (Merchant Member). I use them all the time, pretty sure they have a big enough cutter.

I believe you might have a hard time finding a 5' 5" cutter as most of the common ones limit out at 64" to match the printer. Not saying there aren't some out there, but you may even have a hard time finding vinyl that wide.

Any reason why you can't print 2 halves and add in an overlap?

He is looking for 5.5' or 5'-6" which equals 66" so you 64" cutter will not be large enough.

Just print a faint outline on a wide enough printer and then carefully, cut it out by hand. To do 4 of them can't be too difficult.

I don't mind them being spliced...I just don't want to mess with it, and plug up all my work space with them if there is someone I can sub it to. I'm a one man shop, and I think I'd have trouble with moving it w/o biffing the job up.

why not do it the old fashion way, get 6ft wide vinyl and use a yard stick and a needle, find your center, and cut with an xato blade, easy as 1-2-3

Cause it's just in the shape of a circle...it's still got a logo in the middle and words around the outside.

Quit buggin' me
If you can't find a merchant member here Gregory in Kansas does cut vinyl.
They may be a little pricy for a low number of copies but they do good work.

So, is tiling it out of the question???? Most big stuff has overlaps and it is not a big issue.

We have a 74" GCC Jaguar IV, the problem is finding 72" vinyl readily available and not in 50yd rolls, and the same with the app tape...

If you can point me to the materials you want to use I'll gladly cut it for you... just pay for the materials and shipping.

Ok everyone, here is the "logo"...as you can see in the shape of a circle, not a circle. I do not care if it's tiled, I do not care if the application tape is doubled up, I just don't have room to have these all laid out to assemble in my shop. So...still looking for someone to do it, I don't care if it's multiple pieces assembled then shipped to me.

How big is the inner circle? I might be best to break the text from the graphic and install as 2 pieces with line-up marks.

Like I said, if you can point me to the material you want to use I can do it for you... I won't charge you for the service, just cover the materials and shipping.
